The Aberdare National Park covers the higher areas of the Aberdare Mountain Range of central Kenya and the Aberdare Salient to their east. The park is located about 100 km north from Nairobi. The National Park covers an area of 766 square kilometers and forms part of the Aberdare Mountain Range. The park contains a wide range of landscapes from the mountain peaks to their deep, V-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls.
Animals easily observed in this park include leopards, elephants, East African wild dogs, giant forest hogs, bushbucks, mountain reedbucks, waterbucks, Cape buffalos, the sun is, olive baboon, black and white colobus monkeys, and Sykes monkeys. Rarer sightings include those of the African golden cat and the bongo - an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. The Aberdare National Park also contains a large eastern black rhinoceros population. For the bird lovers, the bird viewing is very rewarding with over 250 species of birds in the park including the endangered Aberdare Cisticola, Jackson's francolin, sparrow hawk, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds, and plovers.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Aberdare National Park
You will be met upon arrival in Nairobi by our driver/guide representative. He will immediately transfer you to Aberdare National Park. Aberdare is the perfect choice of game drive for people that enjoy fishing trips, mountain climbing, bird watching, and hikes.
You drive through the agricultural lands of central Kenya and arrive at the park in time for late lunch at Aberdare Country Club the base hotel for Ark.
After lunch, you will be transferred to Ark, spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at the balconies of your lodge watching wild animals that come at the waterhole at the base of the hotel to drink water and to lick salt.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru and Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park via Lake Elementaita situated on the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru National Park is flamingo land. It is home to a huge number of flamingos. At any given time, every flamingo in the world seems to be at this beautiful shallow alkaline lake, just south of Nakuru town. The lake is a spectacular ocean of pink surrounded by forest and plains that are home other wildlife too. With a total area size of 368 square kilometers and home to more than 450 different kinds of birds, Lake Nakuru park is one of the finest ornithological sights in the world. The Lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth.
Lunch will be at Lake Elementaita Sentrim Lodge. After lunch in the afternoon, you will proceed to the National Park for game viewing, sightseeing, bird watching at Lake Nakuru and also visit the Rhino Sanctuary till late evening.

Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast in the morning, you will depart for Maasai Mara Game to arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sentrim Tented Camp. Your journey heads to Maasai Mara Game Reserve and into the domain of the Maasai, Kenya’s cattle-herding nomads determined to preserve their traditions. The Mara is magnificent and also the richest with Kenya’s concentration of wildlife. Its regarded by most western world travelers as an essential stop on an African Safari.
Upon arrival in Maasai Mara, you will have lunch, after lunch you embark on an evening Game drive until Late evening when you settle back into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Today is dedicated to a full day unlimited game viewing and sightseeing at Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You have our vehicle at your disposal from 6.30 am till 6.00 pm to take you back to your camp.
You spend the entire day in Maasai Mara National Reserve or the Mara as its popularly known for sheltering various wild animals like the lions, cheetahs and other animals that annually migrate to and from Tanzania to the Maasai Mara like the Gazelles, wildebeest and zebras and many more. During a game drive, you are likely to view the big 5 which is something most tourists coming to Kenya hope to see. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
